Greeeeeaaaat!!! Damn it!
Fighting two maneaters at the same time, I mange to hurt both of them (very little HP left) and kill one of them shortly after. Guess what happens next?
THE MONSTER FUCKING DISAPPEARS! And I have to start all over again with decreased amount of items.

Ahh I was stuck on Maneater for the whooole game my first playthrough, he was the last boss I killed (well before the boss after him).. Got lucky and had two phantoms helping me, one of them had firestorm so they were both slaughtered within minutes.. Killing them without firestorm is hell, especially two which I suppose you figured out already xD I suggest trying to get a couple of phantoms to help or just come back and finish him off last.. |

I think you misunderstood me. The bosses themselves are not hard. Using the fireplace in the middle of the area allowed me to block most of their attacks and hurt them with ease. The problem is that when I was nearly finished with the second one, it disappeared. I could not find it anywhere and when I looked it up on google, I saw that many others came across the same glitch as well. It seems they get stuck while flying and all you can do is commit suicide and start all over again if it happens.
Also, Thief ring usually allowed me to fight one at a time.
EDIT: It happened again, but now I think I understand what's going on.
I hit one of the maneaters when it was standing on the ledge. It fell down without its wings appearing. Only the fall doesn't deplete his life bar, so it just disappears out of sight. Weird thing is, I heard its death cry, but nothing happened.
Edit 2: Beat both of them. Honestly, I had to make sure I only fought them when they were in the middle of the stage. Those had to be one of the worst boss battles and boss stages I've ever seen. Even worse than Majora's Mask's second boss. At least that one didn't disappear.
It just kept attacking the middle of the stage for no reason, giving me the opportunity to beat it to oblivion.

I beat the tower knight, I love busting up his heels and causing him to trip. (I also took out Armor Spider and Vanguard.) Im starting to get the hang of this. (<3 turpentine+ Executioner axe.)
Now Im trying to beat the Ivory Tower. Damn, that place is creepy. So is Fools Idols battle theme. ._. This game is like an action-horror RPG at times.
Im considering getting the playstation network so I can go demon slaying with other players. I want to get further into the game first though.
