Hello all, I have been noticing that many pages on here have words highlighted in green and are made into urls that when you mouse over it a mini popup appears and they all say gamevance at the top of the ad.
Now, I am using a different computer, so it could be that this computer has some viruse or such on it, but as far as I can tell it is an actuall forum issue.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I have no idea what you're talking about. No such thing has ever happened to me. If it doesn't happen on your normal computer, then it's likely the computer you're using.

I remember something similar to that, but that was a very long time ago. It's probably not the forum.
I just spend 5 minutes looking around several popular threads and certain threads containing lots of text and I haven't noticed a single thing.
I recommend you scan your computer with a good anti-virus program such as Kaspersky or Bitdefender or an average one such as avast etc.

I don't think this is a virus, I think it's more malware.
Run CCleaner and Malwarebytes and see if the issue persists.

Just putting "GameVance" into Google caused Avast to terminate that process' connection. I'm pretty sure this is a malware thing.

Here's the introductions to how to remove Gamevance Advertisment. It's pretty easy to uninstall it actually, but the left over files are pretty hard to remove if you don't have an Ad-Aware or CCleaner. Hope that helps.
