On November the 19th, 2006, the Nintendo Wii and subsequently The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were released. The game introduced us to several new gameplay elements, including whole sections of the game in which the player literally transformed into a wolf; however, you know why we've all assembled here together. One fictional little imp who changed us enough to- aw, there' s no point in going on. You know what this is about. See that countdown at the top? As soon as that hits zero- that'll be the day on which Midna was born. Unfortunately, 19th November 2007 is a Monday. That means that if we celebrate it then, it'll be a Tuesday the next day and everybody won't be able to wake up early for work and school. Therefore, main festivities will occur on FRIDAY 16th November.When, you say? Seven o' clock EST. That's 7:00PM. 19:00PM. Right? I can't stress enough that if you visit when the countdown says 0:00:00:00, I doubt anybody will actually be here. Don't wait until the countdown is depleted! If you're like me and not good at timezones, here's a handy-as-hell reference card to help you decide when you're gonna visit. I'm sure events will run on way into the early hours of the morning, so you can join in the fun whenever. On a completely unrelated note, I'll be editing that banner at the top soon enough, and I assure you you're in for a treat and you'll concur when you find out that the fantastic new art is given to us courtesy to Dr. Maniacal, MFF Artist extraordinaire. I'm afraid we're keeping events for the evening behind closed doors for now except for the radio show - see Chi's topic for that - because it's all the more fun if we unveil it all in one giant fistful come the day. We could always try to postphone it to when the GameCube version came out, if most of us can't make it. This is something everyone should come to!
I must say, it's hard for me to be active on the weekends, so I'm sorry if I...dissapear, let's say.

I find it a little weird that it's being called her birthday. I mean, wouldn't her birthday be the day Nintendo created her as a character? I like to think of it more as the anniversary of meeting her. anyways, just my two cents  |
