Nah, man, the day Nintendo created her as a character was her conception. The period between that and the launch is what you might call the gestation period.
OK, I can see your point. I only half agree, though. I agree that the day they created her would be conception, but I think her birthday would be the day they finalized her design.  Who could have imagined that I, a simple Irken Invader, would have actually found this thing those filthy humans call "love?"
